Dan White & Associates is a financial advisory firm specializing in retirement planning, wealth management, and investment strategies. With decades of experience, our team is dedicated to helping individuals and families build and protect their financial future.
Are you a fiduciary?
Yes. As fiduciaries, we are legally and ethically obligated to act in our clients’ best interests. Transparency, honesty, and integrity are core principles of our advisory approach.
Who are your clients?
We work with people who are serious about getting their retirement right — typically pre-retirees and retirees who want peace of mind, income they can’t outlive, and a clear plan.
What makes Dan White & Associates different?
At Dan White & Associates, we provide the deep financial expertise you’d expect—backed by decades of experience—but what truly sets us apart is our personalized, client-first approach. As a smaller, dedicated firm, we take the time to build genuine relationships. When you call, you’ll always reach a real person—not an answering service. Our clients are never treated like just a number; they’re our partners. We’re committed to providing the guidance, education, and support needed to help you navigate your financial journey with confidence.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Before your first appointment, our team will send you a comprehensive checklist to help you prepare. This list is simply a guideline—designed to make the process easier, not to overwhelm you. You’re not expected to have everything perfectly organized; that’s what we’re here for. Our goal is to help you feel confident and supported as we begin building a financial plan tailored to your needs.
How are your fees structured?

Meeting with an advisor to develop a plan is completely complimentary, with no obligation. We invite you to explore your options and get to know us before making any decisions.

Our fees are tailored to the specific plan you develop alongside your Financial Advisor. For investment advisory services, we typically operate on a fee-based model, meaning we charge a percentage of the assets we manage on your behalf. This aligns our success with yours—we do better when you do better.

For insurance products like annuities or life insurance, there are no direct fees paid by the client; instead, we’re compensated by the insurance companies. We’re always transparent about how we’re paid and are happy to walk you through every detail before you make a decision.

Do you offer virtual consultations?
Yes, we offer both in-person and virtual meetings for your convenience. Our advisors are happy to work with you in whichever format best suits your schedule and location.
Where are you located?
We have three conveniently located offices in Glen Mills, PA, Middletown, DE, and Lewes, DE.
